2004 Miss Georgia Marble Beauty Pageant
This years Miss Georgia Marble was a repeated very successful event. Director Tim Prather reported that 2004 was again a "record setting" year. "There were over 90 girls participating this year", which was the most participants in its history. "It's very exciting to see the pageant grow", says Tim, but the work preparing for and conducting it is a very demanding process. If we get much bigger, we're going to have to modify our presentation format that simply means that we may have to divide up the pageant. This process would make it easier on the working personnel as well as the participants that wait long periods of time to participate. But, no formal changes will be made until the completion of the 2005 Miss Georgia Marble.

We would like to congratulate each and every participant of the pageant this year. We look at all of them as "winners". Additionally, we congratulate the Queens and alternates of each division. As a note of humor, one young queen "insisted" that she receive a trophy just like the one the "princess" participants received. Her "large" trophy did not set well at all. Dad approached the director, Tim, to inquire if he could obtain one of those that "most everyone else" received so that he could pacify his little "queen". Tim helped him out
